Financial Planning For Your Care
The fee schedule of acupuncture visits and naturopathic visits is very different, so please find the correct sections below. Carleton Magus, LAc (acupuncture) is contracted with insurance and bills insurance directly for you and also accepts cash, checks and credit. Dr. Katja Magus (naturopathic services) does not accept insurance and payment in full will be due at the time of visit. She does supply superbills for you to submit after the visit if requested. If you have any additional questions after reading the information below, please call: 425-391-7777 and we are happy to help. See below for detailed information:
How Many Treatments Are Needed?
The number of acupuncture treatments you need depends on the complexity of your illness, whether it is acute, chronic or recent, and your overall health.
Acupuncture is a therapy in which each treatment builds on the previous one. Achieving significant healing requires a commitment on your part. Optimal results are achieved when a patient follows the suggested treatment plan. With acupuncture, patients will usually begin to see positive changes within the first few treatments. In this system of medicine we treat the individual. Everyone has his or her own unique personality, body type, and beliefs when coming into a treatment. Response varies greatly; at your visit we will discuss the best treatment plan for you. We also encourage long term follow-up care in some cases to prevent the symptoms from recurring and to maintain health and wellness.
Rates vary depending on insurance and needs of the patient.
Just $20 – for an Initial consultation and history if you mention this web page, when paid at time of service. A $50 value!
We accept Cash, Checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, HSA cards and most major insurance plans.
We advise that you know your insurance benefits before coming into the office. Click here to download Acupuncture Insurance Verification form. As a service to our patients we also verify insurance benefits after the first visit.
If we are contracted with your plan, or you have out of network benefits, we will submit claims for you. If your insurance does not cover acupuncture, we request payment at the time of service. You may use your HSA card or receipt may be submitted for reimbursement from flex plans or health savings accounts in many cases.
